"Christianity is not comfortable"

As a Christian, I think about the purpose for our life and it is the eternal life. Probably for most of us it’s very easy to get distracted from the truth because there are a lot of things around us that are not valuable but at the moment it’s seems like it has more value than Christianity.

When I’m down in my life, I have troubles, the only place where I can find a peace it’s not friends, husband, or material things that I can buy, but it’s the quiet place, simple prayer, and time with Jesus.

When I am with Him, then I can be useful for others as well. That I see in the example of Jesus. He lived for others. He died for others. Thus, only being in peace with him I can be used in serving for others.

Unfortunately Christianity is not comfortable and impossible to balance with the earthly life. We cannot serve two gods. It is a difficult decision we make every day. What inspires me the most is people who live in poverty, they do not have a lot, they have hardships, but they still choose Jesus and they are truly happy people.
