"God keeps His promises even though you forget about them"

LCC International University has always been on my heart. I was always around it, was surrounded by people who are here and at the back of my heart I wanted to be here, but I always thought that it was too expensive and it’s in Klaipeda. From the beginning of the summer my initial plan was to finish my year with the church and go back to UK because I had two jobs lined up, a car, a place to stay, tickets, I had everything. At the end of June my heart’s desire changed, I didn’t want to go anymore. Though I had everything and it was totally God’s provision for me, but yet I still did not want to go. Then questions started arising about a place where to live, education and LCC was the main university for me to study. Still, I would be going back to money issue because it was expensive, but then I though I will just apply for scholarship and see what happens. I made a deal with God that if I get a scholarship then I am staying and if not – I should go. I heard about my scholarship first few days of August and my flight was on the 6th of August, so there was two days a gap. But God, again, provided a scholarship for me. I remembered that few years ago I was in the worship night at LCC and after it I was inspired, so I walked around campus and said that it would be cool to study here. I remembered God saying, ‘If I want you here, you will be here‘. So while signing the papers to study at LCC, I remembered His promise and then I realized that I have to be here.

When everything happened, now I can say that God keeps His promises even though you forget about them. I understood that everything can change in my life, but God still remains in the same place.
