"Everything is so temporary"

I grew up in a Christian family, I went to the Sunday school every Sunday since I was little and my mom used to teach us about the Bible. I remember I was 8 years old and I used to receive little booklets from Treasure Hunt Club. One lady from that club used to bring these booklets with tasks, stories from the Bible and if you finish ten of the classes, you could get a diploma. So I remember I was sitting in the car and reading stories. There were steps how to receive Jesus and one of them was to pray and ask him to come to your heart. Then I remember I was around 13 years old and I was in Discovery camp. Every time when I think about it, I remember that I felt a lot of God’s presence there: nature around you, people, worship, testimonies every evening. One evening one of the pastors asked if we want to accept Jesus, then we should come in front and I came. Then teenager years came and we moved from one city to another and I remember that I was trying to get blended with the new group of people and have good time by having parties and I got very much involved with it. When I started my studies at LCC International University, I felt that I lost the real truth. There is no point in life if you live without God. While studying at LCC, I used to go to "Scripture Union Camp" as a leader and it really helped me to see God’s work through the children because they were from at risk families and you could see that in the beginning of the camp it would be difficult to reach them, but at the end they worshipped God together. Then you see that it is the only hope in this world for them to have God. Thus, it brought an understanding that I should live for others and that’s where I actually find peace when I know that I am not doing selfish things.

So if I would not have God in my life, I would not have hope. Everything is so temporary.
